If there is a CD image file (like ISO Bin AO) can use a program to mount the file in a virtual drive. Take a look at download.com for software editing picture CD.
In fact, no one should close games.
Download Daemon Tools.
Mount the image. Iso.
Installing The Game.
Copy the crack into the installation directory of the game.
